Upcoming Collision: SFDR and Human Capital Data
On January 1, 2023, the European Commission’s full implementation of the regulatory technical standards under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) will go into effect, with financial market participants required to make numerous disclosures regarding their financial products by June 30, 2023. Given the current state of ESG data and reporting, this has the potential to represent a substantial reporting lift for covered participants, including investment firms that offer portfolio management services, pension providers and insurance-based investors. In this discussion, we will explore the scope and impact of SFDR and share better practices for organizations as they prepare for implementation.

Join us for an off-the-record conversation with your peers where we will explore:
• What the upcoming SFDR implementation means for fund managers and how they can prepare
• The interplay between SFDR and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
• The current state of data assurance
• Challenges and better practices for portfolio data collection
